It’s terrific to finally see the spotlight on independent PR consultants. The Independent Impact 50 is recognition of the deep expertise, specialist insight and creative energy that consultants can offer. This moment explodes the outdated myth that PR is simply split between agency or in-house - there’s a whole ecosystem of independent professionals doing vital, brilliant work.
I feel especially lucky to work with the education sector where communications can raise the profile of excellent initiatives, bring about meaningful change, amplify rarely heard voices and connect young people to opportunities.
